The Wisdom of the Founders

Take Action!

There is a military maxim that the purely defensive is doomed to defeat. In a political battle as well as a military battle, the side that is reacting to the initiatives of the other is at a great disadvantage. Therefore, the Independent American Party has chosen to focus our suggested activities on both proactive and defensive initiatives. We will suggest reactive or defensive activities be performed only when there is a great need, such as protecting our nation's borders. As soon as there is a proactive initiative, we will change our focus to incorporate it. We hope the proactive approach to political action will strike a responsive chord with you.  Please see our link to the Committee of Correspondence, where we unite our efforts to praise Congress when they make good and Constitutional choices, and where we encourage citizens to submit items like those below to their respective Senators and Congressional Representatives.

How our Congress voted:  Go to http://www.thenewamerican.com/, scroll down the page and find Freedom Index, then download the latest .pdf file containing the voting record of your Congressional Leaders.  This very helpful to know how they vote.  We encourage you to contact them and persuade them to vote for freedom bills and issues.
