A TIME FOR PRAYER AND SOME GOOD NEWS May 6, 2009 GOOD NEWS The bill sponsored by Ron Paul to audit the Federal Reserve has, in the last two weeks, received 69 new cosponsors. This brings the total number of cosponsors to 124, or 29% of the House. There are 14 Democrat cosponsors which indicates two things are happening, both of them good. First, your letters, email, and phone calls are taking effect with the members of Congress. Second, the coalition built by President Obama is beginning to fall apart. Keep up the communication, the more Congress hears from constituents, the more pro-Freedom votes are made.

PRAYER REQUEST This weekend, please pray for the Freedom of our nation. The political process in America is almost totally controlled by the Eastern Establishment. These Insiders wish to control every facet of American life. With God's help, we can defeat this band of collectivists. Please make prayer for the Freedom of our nation a regular part of your religious observance. During our Revolutionary War, Thomas Paine wrote; “Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as Freedom should not be highly rated." We must be up to the task of constant communication with Congress. Use this link daily, if possible, but at least weekly. Send an email on one issue of your choice every day if you can. Choose a different issue every time you communicate with Congress so that all Freedom issues are covered. Most members of Congress are neither dedicated right wingers or left wingers. They are, however, dedicated to their own re-election! This gives us a means to influence them. When the desire of the folks back home is continually made apparent, Congress tends to vote to please their constituents. The price of Liberty is constant vigilance and we will regain our Freedom through diligent and continual discourse with Congress. We are beginning to work on some State issues.
