SOME TOOLS FOR AN HONEST ELECTION.

Vote fraud has been practiced by many nations and in many elections. It is not a new phenomena here or abroad, but has made headlines in the last decade as electronic voting has been widely adapted. Some new tools have been developed to help insure more honest elections.

Several days ago I spoke with Kathy Dopp of ElectionArchives.org. Her organization has developed tools for candidates and citizens to use in the upcoming elections. Their goal is to ensure election integrity, something sadly lacking in many of our elections.

Let us work and pray for the most honest elections possible this November, and then let us tirelessly work for accurate, honest elections in 2008.

For this November's election, illegal immigration is the hot topic. Americans for Better Immigration have a grade for each member of Congress, House and Senate. My advice is to not vote for any member of Congress whose grade is below a “B”, no matter what party they belong to, or what committee assignment they hold. Their political opponents could hardly do worse, and may do a whole lot better. See your “Representative's” score at:

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

“More than a third of the American public suspects that federal officials assisted in the 9/11 terrorist attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East, according to a new Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll.

The national survey of 1,010 adults also found that anger against the federal government is at record levels, with 54 percent saying they "personally are more angry" at the government than they used to be.“

I believe that that anger and suspicion are being fed by the frustration many Americans feel about a Federal Government that they perceive is out of control and not responsive to the will and morals of the bulk of the American people. As we receive information from all over our country, we see many individuals and groups forming organizations to address this failure to respond by our elected leaders. The people get the rhetoric, the special interests get the action. (Or as one wag put it; “How can you tell when politicians lie? They move their lips.)

Discouragement and the feeling that we are alone in this battle are tools of the enemies of Freedom. The average American feels something is radically wrong with our government and our elected leaders. We must go on providing leadership, information, and activities to preserve and enhance our Freedom. The tide is turning toward the truth and more responsive elected leaders. “Eternal vigilance is the price of Freedom!”
