The Independent American Party would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our former Chairman, Will Christensen, for all he has done to help keep the flames of freedom and liberty alive in the hearts of Americans, and for serving and guiding the IAP these past several years.

He has been a pillar and an example of the spirit of the Founding Fathers - Will is a true Patriot and lover of freedom. He is one of the only original founders of the IAP still living.

Will has given much time and effort for IAP, which, over the past decade has seen the rise and growth of a political party that the Founding Fathers of the USA would be pleased with and would happily join. We will miss him very much and hope that God will bless him in this hour of need. Let us all pray for him and his family, that the blessings of Heaven will be poured out in his behalf. It is with extreme regret that we announce his resignation due to health issues:

Fellow Patriots;

It is with sorrow that I have tendered to the Executive Committee my resignation as National Chairman of the Independent American Party. My health, which had been miraculously good, has been declining this year, and I must leave the Party in more capable hands. My assignment was to build on the foundation Bruce Bangerter had built and to take the Party to the place where it can begin to fulfill its divine destiny. It is now on the verge of a great expansion into nationwide prominence, and my part in its leadership is complete.

The Independent American Party, through God's grace, will grow into a mighty force for Freedom. The political awareness of the American People has been awakened and is resulting in a mighty surge for Liberty. The Freedom principles of the Founders of this Nation are being learned by alert Americans who will not be stopped by the totalitarian plans of the Washington Insiders. The influence of the Committee of Correspondence will persuade many in Congress to vote for the Freedom position when laws are proposed. This Party will play a major part in the restoration of our Republic, the destruction of the political power of Freedom's enemies, and the reconstitution of Divine Law as the basis for all government. I envision the Party as a great standard from which Freedom will flow to America and from there throughout the world. I express my love and commitment to the Party, its leaders, and to the Divine Purpose for which it was founded.

I have been blessed and uplifted by my association with you and those who have worked for Freedom both within and without the Party. I expect to continue to work in some area of the cause of Freedom for the remainder of my days. I express my love and gratitude to you and invoke God's choicest blessings upon you, the Independent American Party, and our beloved America.
