Apathy and ignorance are KILLING America.  We need to learn what our Founders knew and maintain the same principles in our day.  Otherwise, our Constitution and way of life will be taken away from us.

We need to better understand the principle and purpose of the separation of powers.  Our Founders discovered how to provide for freedom of the people and at the same time to allow the government enough power to protect our rights and opportunities.  However, the pendulum has been allowed to swing off center.  We need to reign in the abuse and neglect of our Constitutional Republic before it is too late.

Understand the power of economics and the control of our money.

In today's frantic search for a cure to the global recession, we find the following from the past:

Economist John Maynard Keynes (a socialist) stated boldly the dangers that lurk if politicians take their power over money creation too far. He said:

"There is no subtler, no surer way of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency". 

(To "debauch" means to debase, vitiate, corrupt, deprave, pervert, devalue, etc.).  Currency, or money is the basis upon which our economy runs.  Thus, the basis of society is being torn down and destroyed as we watch.
